ROSS F. KOEGEL, 47, of 121 Griffiths St., died yesterday at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a brief illness.
A life resident of Syracuse, Mr. Koegel was a mechanic for Firestone Tire Co. for 24 years. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church and was a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jeanne Venuti Koegel; a son, Ross Koegel; two daughters, Mrs. William McDonald of San Diego, Calif., and Mrs. Joseph Dery; his mother, Mrs. Nela Koegel; three brothers, Charles of North Syracuse, Richard of Baldwinsville, and Howard Koegel; a sister, Mrs. John Ramaglino of North Syracuse, and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday at Farone and Son Funeral Home, 723 James St., and at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.
