Castrato Singer. He began as a contralto at the Cappella Giulia and later entered the Cappella Sistina as a soprano (mezzo). He recorded some choral pieces together with Alessandro Moreschi, Giovanni Cesari and Vincenzo Sebastianelli and can be heard singing contralto in the quartet recording of Palestrina's "La cruda mia nemica". He held the position of secretary of the Capella Sistina for many years. He was a good friend of Alessandro Moreschi, and is buried in his tomb.
