On 14 June 1893 he was united in marriage with Anna Marie Voegler. This union was blessed with 10 children of which 2 preceded the father in death. In 925 the fmily came from Norka to Castor, Alberta, Canada to a farm not far from where he lived until Friday, 6 May when he was brought to the hospital. The last 2 years he was often sick and had to see a doctor. He had a heart condition which became worse because of a goiter. He suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on 9 May as surgery for the removal of the goiter began. After an official examination it was determined that he had a heart attack that caused his death. He leaves his deeply bereaved wife, 4 sons, John, Henry, Wilhelm and Conrad, 4 daughters, Amolie Spady, Katharina Rudolph, Nathalia Glanz all in Portland, OR and Mrs. Magdalena Pauli here in Castor, 8 grandchildren, many relatives and friends. The service was conducted 13 May in the Hoffnungs Church. Pastor J. Redberger from Bruderheim, Alberta spoke in German and the unersigned spoke in the English language. Father Weber was a peaceful and a peace loving man. He brought his age to 64 years, 7 months and 5 days. The God of comfort, comfort the bereaved. Matt. 5.9 served as text. Hanna, Alta, Canada J. C.
