John & Anna Krakowski were married around 1873; they immigrated to the U.S. in the early 1880's. They settled in Omaha, NE by 1900 and John worked as a smelter (laborer that tends the furnace or stove).
They had children: Martha, Mary, Lena (Mrs. Gelecki), Bernard "Ben" (died in 1928 and is buried next to John & Anna), Leo, Antoinette "Tillie" and Anna (Mrs. Andrew Wieger), they also had a number of children that passed away in childhood.
