Well Known Business Man Succumbs After Lingering Illness, Funeral Services Will Be Held Thursday

William T. Parsch, 32 Colonial Apartments. Passed away at 3:20 a.m. Monday at the age of 65 years and 8 months. He leaves to mourn his loos his wife Mary, four daughters, Mrs. Viola Helfrich, Mrs. Lucille McQuistion, Mrs. Gertrude Mathe, and Miss Claire Parsch, all of Elyria; five grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. Alex P. Parsch, John C. Parsch, of Elyria and Mrs. Anna E, Tyler of Cleveland, Ohio. He was President and Manager of The Parsch Lumber and Coal Co., and a member of The K of C. and Elks Lodges. Funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from St. Mary's Church, with Solemn High Mass. Interment will be made in the family lot in St. Mary's Cemetery. (Please omit flowers)

In the passing of William T. Parsch, Elyria has lost another esteemed citizen who spent his life here and was active in business, fraternal and church circles. Friends today were recalling his activities in various lines and paid a high tribute to his memory as a man who was always willing to give his assistance in any cause for the welfare of others.
About twenty-five years ago, Mr. Parsch was instrumental in the organization of the local Council of the Knights of Columbus. He was a charter member of that body and took an active interest in the organization. He was one of the leaders who was instrumental in the purchase of the present club home.
The deceased was also an active member of the Elks. One of the leading members of the Elks Club today stated that few men have responded more to the need of the local Elks club than Mr. Parsch and he was always ready to lend a hand for the good of the order.
He was an active member of St. Mary's church and was a Councilman in that church for many years.
In business Mr. Parsch was the President of the Parsch Lumber and Coal Co. he was a very active executive and was interested in realty holdings as well as in the firm which he was President.
His death is mourned by a wide circle of friends in every walk of life.
