HILBERT – Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at St. Mary’s church here for Frank Wolfinger, 89, who died last Friday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Joseph Scharenbrock, Hilbert, following a short illness.
He was born in Austria and came to America at the age of 3 years. When he was 28 he came to this county and lived on a farm in the town of Woodville. He married Miss Minnie Fink of Hollandtown who preceded him in death in 1927. Mr. Wolfinger took great interest in civic and rural affairs and held several offices.
Survivors are 2 daughters, 5 sons, 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
