James L. Beaham Sr., 76, of Letts, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Colonial Manor. Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. at the Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery with military rites by the combined units of the V.F.W. Post 1565 and the American Legion Post #27. Visitation for James will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in James name.
James Lee Beaham was born on March 11, 1938, in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Harold E. and Florence M. (Smith) Beaham. In August 1960, James was united in marriage to RuthAnn McKillip in Muscatine, Iowa. James served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the V.F.W., the Legion, Petes Tap, Hubbles and enjoyed fishing and hunting.
James will be deeply missed by his two sons, James Beaham Jr. and wife, Lisa of Letts and Jesse Beaham of Fayville, Massachusetts; two grandchildren, Garrett and Dustin; two sisters, Mary Gilsdorf of Minnesota and Norma Harold of Arcadia, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son Michael Beaham; one sister, Fern Holtrop; and one brother, Harold “Pete” Beaham.
