Mr. Casas, who died Monday in a local hospital, was a retired farmer.
Burial was held in the Mount Calvary Cemetery in Refugio with Moore Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Elvira Elizalde of Bay CIty, Mrs. Victor Garcia of Shiner, Mrs. Elodia Trevinio of Rio Grande City and Mrs. John Sandoval of Port Lavaca; one brother, Lorenzo Casas of Rip Grande City; and 32 grandchildren, 72 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
