Husband of the late Camille T. Cartwright (nee DeBlase). Father of Sherry (Wilson) Martin, Kathy Reece, Lisa (Gary) Fitzgerald. Brother of Shirley Mangum, Alice Bailey, the late Louise Manningly and the late Aaron Cartwright. Lifelong friend of Jesse "Brush" Underwood. Grandfather of seven. Great-grandfather of six. Father-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend. Ira "Richard" will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by those who knew and loved him. Funeral services: Monday, April 13, 2015, from Fieser Funeral Home at 12 noon. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
