SERVICE FOR WAR VETERAN HELD HERE ON SUNDAY.
James T. Cartwright. 68 years old, Spanish American War Veteran, removed last week to Jefferson Barracks, , died at the veteran hospital at 2 p. m. Friday. The body was returned here by National Funeral Service and funeral services were conducted from the Greenville Methodist Church Sunday afternoon at two o'clock by Rev. V. A. Fulbright. A second service was held on Monday afternoon at Rombauer where the remains were taken for interment.

Mr. Cartwright bought property at Kailville during the past year and had since made his home in this community. He held the friendship of those whom he knew since coming here. He was a native of Kentucky.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Annie Cartwright; a son, Stanley Cartwright of Poplar Bluff and a daughter, Pearl of East Prairie; a son, Richard and daughter, Louise, Greenville. A brother, William Cartwright, lives at Bernle and a sister, Mrs. Emma Grace, at Mayfield, Ky.
