Gloria Marcene (Heggen) Corbett, 86, passed away in North Richland Hills, Texas on April 6th, 2015. Gloria was born January 29th, 1929 to Clara (Hauglid) and Everett Heggen. She was baptized on March 28th, 1929 at Split Rock Lutheran Church. She had 4 sisters and 1 brother. Gloria graduated from Brandon High School. On August 11th, 1950, she married Wendwell Corbett. They had 4 children and lived at RR Corson until they moved to Watertown, South Dakota in 1964. Gloria worked at Herbergers Department store and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Watertown. She loved to sew, making bathrobes for her children every Christmas. In 1992, they moved to Trophy Club, Texas. She is survived by her sisters, Iva (Lowell) Amdahl, Mary (Sanford) Brew, Mila (Gordon) Ode and Brother Leo (Joan)Heggen, brother-in-law Gene (Judy) Corbett. Children: Keith (Roxanne) Corbett of Brookings, South Dakota, Sue (Tim) Brandriet of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Karen (Roger) Rye of Adrian, Minnesota, Kent Corbett of North Richland Hills, Texas. Grandchildren: Ryan, Katie,(Darrin), Matthew, Melissa(Jason), Joshua(Erika), Alan(Kim), Jessica (Mark) and Jonathan(Courtney). Great Grandchildren: Griffen, Sawyer, Teigan, Noah, Lincoln, Katelyn, and Annabelle. Several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Sister Lillian, and brother-in-law Don.
