very old resident of the district, pas-
sed away at her residence at the age
of 76. She was born in Gallasmity,
Germany, and came to Queensland at
the age of 23. The late Mrs.
Kowaltzke resided in Tarampa be-
fore coming to Blenheim, where she
has resided until her death.
