Born in Germany on March 22, 1934, he came to the US in 1954. He became a US citizen and enlisted in the US Army. He was a retired employee of Pathmark Supermarket in Norwalk and resided in Waterbury for most of his life. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Sportsman's Club at Western Hills Golf Corse. He was also a member of the Waterbury Elks and a former Scout Master with Troop 42 in Waterbury.
He is survived by a son Kenneth and his wife Donna Kuhr of Hollywood, FL, daughters Andrea Kuhr and her companion Duane Cody, Tanya and her husband Darrin Jacques all of Wolcott, seven grandchildren Matthew Kuhr, Cassondra Kuhr, Kirsten Jacques, Kaitlen (Jacques) Conner, Zachary Jacques, Nicholas Jacques, Shana Meyer, and one great grandson Renley Kuhr and a great grandson Renley Kuhr.
