Mrs. Constance M. "Connie" Elliott, 74 of Pilot Grove Mo. passed away Saturday May 9, 2015 at Katy Manor in Pilot Grove Mo.

She was born on August 6, 1940 in Des Moines, Iowa a daughter of the late Paul and Edna Seuferer Schmitt. She was married on July 22, 2003 in Nelson Mo. to Joseph Elliott who preceded her in death on February 9, 2012.

Connie graduated from Des Moines High School and Mary Crest College in Davenport, Iowa.

She had been employed as a teacher at St. Anthony's Elementary School in Des Moines, Iowa and also taught at St Paul Minnesota Public Schools for over twenty years. Later she was a successful business owner until her retirement.

Connie enjoyed painting, crafts, cooking and traveling. She was an excellent artist and teacher. Most importantly , she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include; two sons, Robert Klinkner and wife Cris of Jefferson City Mo. and Brian Klinkner and wife Terry of Fenton Mo. one brother; Richard Schmitt and wife Darlene of Pilot Grove Mo. four sisters; Sister Donna Schmitt of Davenport Iowa, Mary Ann Dost of Savannah GA. Margaret Rielly and husband Jon of Bluffton, South Carolina, and Pauline Cunningham of Blackwater Mo. four grandchildren; Justin Klinkner, Kevin Klinkner, Cassie Klinkner, and Kelly Klinkner; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers; Paul "Joseph" Schmitt and Gerald Schmitt and Robert Schmitt. one sister; Yvonne Younger and three infant siblings.

Pallbearers will be Robert Klinkner, Brian Klinkner, Kevin Klinkner, Dusty Cunningham and Nicholas Schmitt.

The family would like to thank the caring staff of Katy Manor for their excellent care for Connie over the past three years.

Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 10-11a.m. Wednesday May 13, 2015.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11a.m. Wednesday May 13, 2015 in the Freeman Chapel with Chaplain Paul Deutsch officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at Resurrection Cemetery.
