OBITUARY:THOMAS R HOLM, 82, of Leawood, Kansas, formerly of Marshalltown, Iowa died Monday, September 15, 2008 in Overland Park, KS. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7851 W 119th Street, Overland Park, KS. 66213. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Tom, was born August 14, 1926, in Thor, Iowa the son of Fred and Clara Sebber Holm. He was a 1950 graduate of Iowa State University where he was a Pi Kappa Phi. Tom had worked for Century Companies of America in Waverly, Iowa for thirty years prior to his retirement in 1988. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Alfred Holm and sister Carol Nemeth. Tom is survived by his wife, Patricia Holm, of the home; son, Scott Holm and his wife Deb, Marshalltown, Iowa; daughter, Sheryl Steinhilber and her husband Steve, Leawood, Kansas; grandchildren, Kristen Holm, Adam and Jack Steinhilber; sister, Marvel Enburg, Wheaton, Illinois; brother, Frank Holm, Norwalk, Iowa and sister-in-law Eltha Holm, Marshalltown,Iowa.
