SOUTH BEND - Alexandra Mary Hessling Satter, formerly of South Bend, died Wednesday, May 13 in St. Petersburg. FL. Born in South Bend on May 17, 1962, she attended St. Joseph High School before joining the United States Navy in 1981 where she served for four years. She later attended Valdosta State University in Georgia and IUSB. She is survived by her husband, Kris Satter, mother, Thelma Hessling, three brothers, Peter Hessling and wife Janet of Durham NC, Paul Hessling and wife Janice of Greensboro NC, and Anthony Hessling of South Bend; sister, Victoria Hessling of Greensboro NC; three sons, Joshua Fleeman, Christopher Foulk, and Tyler Forrester, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Hessling and twin brother, Christopher Hessling. Funeral arrangements are pending in Greensboro, NC.
