Grace was born March 13,1929 to Edward and Kate( Lynn) Bates . Youngest of 10 she grew up on the homestead in Louisiana Alberta , west of Pine Lake, where her parents, immigrates from England and made their home . She worked for a short time at P.T.'S in Red Deer Ab, and met her husband Norman Freeborn Kee . They were married August 8 1952 in Red Deer . Together they had a daughter Sandra Lynn(Kee),born December 15th 1954 . In 1967 the relocated with the C.P.R to Calgary Alta. Norman was a train engineer. Grace was widowed in 1985, she remained in Calgary for the rest of her life and passing away December 19, 2005. Her daughter, Sandra married Derrick LaRiviere and had three children. Tanis (1983) Corey & Brittney(twins),1987. Grace Will be always remembered for her love and kindness and devotion to her family.
