She was born in Butler on March 08, 1924, the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive Nancy (Atwell) Stehle.
Anne was a graduate of Butler High School.
She moved to New Freedom eight years ago after living in Hilton Head, South Carolina for more than twenty years.
Anne was the wife of the late George K. Hope.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister: Mary Rockenstein; and, her brother: Joseph Stehle.
Anne is survived by her daughter: Anne H. Grubb and her husband, Robert, of Greenville, South Carolina; her sons: James A. Hope II and his wife, Barbara, of Baltimore, Maryland and Keith M. Hope and his wife, Katharine, of Parkton, Maryland; her eight grandchildren; her sister: Catherine Bullen of Silver Spring, Maryland; and, her brother: Raymond Stehle of Butler.
Funeral services will be private.
