Martin Moses, a prominent and highly esteemed citizen of West Pikeland, living about one mile south of Chester Springs, died on Sunday afternoon about 3 o'clock, aged 61 years. Deceased was a brother of Samuel Moses, of Phoenixville. He was a useful man in his neighborhood, and was for many years a school director of that district and enjoyed the esteem and confidence of his neighbors. He had been ill for three years with pulmonary disease and had recently been attacked with hemorrhages.
