Harry, 91, Minster, died at Elmwood Assisted Living.

He was the son of Henry J. and Rosa A. (Bohman) Dahlinghaus. On May 22, 1954, in Celina, he married Phyllis J. Deitrick, who survives in New Bremen.

Also surviving are two sons: Douglas (Jenni), Minster, and Gregory, Las Vegas, NV; a daughter, Susan Massie, Fairborn; a sister, Rosella Sdao, Ottawa; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Deceased are nine siblings linked below; and a brother-in-law, Charles Deitrick.

A member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, he was a member of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and a member of the Minster American Legion Post #387. He was also past board member and life member of the Minster Civic Association, past board member and past president of the Minster Business Association, 1st board member of the Minster Zoning Committee. He was employed for 20 years at EF Westerheide Ford Sales, then from 1963 to 1990 as owner operator of Dahlinghaus Garage & Auto Sales and from 1990 to present at Dahlinghaus Auto Sales & Service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, with Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will take place with full military honors by the Minster Firing Squad in St. Augustine Cemetery.
