Phyllis J. Dahlinghaus age 84 of Minster passed away at 11:47 AM on January 4, 2018 at Heritage Manor Nursing Center, Minster. She was born on May 29, 1933 in St. Marys, Ohio to the late Blanchard Ellis & Helen (McDermitt). She married Harold A. Dahlinghaus on May 22, 1954 in Celina, Ohio. He preceded her in death on July 3, 2015. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and step father Paul E. Deitrick and brother Charles Deitrick. Phyllis was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She was a scout leader, past president for the Minster High School Band Parents and active in various church organizations. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 9, and from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Wednesday, January 10.
