Short funeral services at the City Cemetery will be held for Charles Davin,75, Tuesday at 2 p.m. Mr. Davin died at his home at Hollandale, Minn. Saturday at 1 p.m. The family had been there for the past 15 years.
Born February 19,1869 at Paris, France, Mr. Davin came to America in his early life and was married to Miss Bertha Berndt of this city, who survives. Eight children also survive their father and are Armin, Sioux City, Ia.; Roland, Philadelphia, Pa.; August, Waterloo, Ia.; Chester, Pierre, S.D.; Vernon, Hollandale; Elsie, Mankato; Rose, Hollandale and Erna, Blairsburg.
Funeral services will be held at Hollandale and the body will then be brought to this city for burial.
