Passed away in San Francisco on July 26, 2006 at age 81. Loving wife of Heinz Frankenstein for over 59 years; devoted mother of Susan (John) Dean and the late Ruth Davis; wonderful Omi to Kim (Joseph) Scott, Megan, Michael, and Melissa; great- grandmother of Gabriel; adoring aunt to Judy Kolb and Ernie (Denise) Fleisher.

Born June 11, 1925 in Gindorf, Germany, Inge immigrated to Shanghai, China in 1939 and then to San Francisco, CA. in 1948.

Inge partnered with her husband, Heinz, running Ahrens Bakery for 28 years. She volunteered for Mount Zion Hospital and belonged to Shaare Zedek Medical Center and Hadassah.

Inge lived at the San Francisco Towers for nine years. She will be remembered as one of the warmest, most thoughtful, and sweetest individuals her family and friends have ever known.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 28 at 1:30 p.m. at Sinai Memorial Chapel, 1501 Divisadero St. at Geary Blvd.
