A resident of Dawson most of her life, Mrs. Corday was born in Germany, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth Koch Nierhoff. Her husband Alfred died Dec. 10, 1956.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Marie Kitchen and Mrs. Charlotte Kitchen, both of Dawson, Miss Ethel Corday of Springfield and Mrs. Anna Mae Prior of Illiopolis; one son Alfred Jr. of Springfield; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Chara Harrell and Mrs. Emma Harrell, both of Springfield; one brother, Frank Nierhoff of Springfield.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Staab Funeral Home. Rev. Cyril Jackson will officiate and burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
