She was born in Springfield, IL the daughter of John and Anna Nierhoff Robson, and married Chester H. Kitchen, who preceded her in death on June 14, 1973. She attended the Dawson United Methodist Church and was a member of Eagles Aerie No. 437 Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Kitchen was preceded in death by a son, William Heinrich, on Oct. 25, 1944.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Gantt of Dawson, Mrs. Ralph (Ben) Cearlock of Ogden; one son, Robert Heinrich of Clinton; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; three step-sisters, Miss Ethel Corday of Petersburg, Mrs. Pearle (Charlotte) Kitchen of Dawson, Mrs. Virgil (Anna Mae) Prior of Illiopolis; one step-brother, Alfred Corday of Springfield; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Staab Funeral Home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
