Wilma was traveling with her family to higher country because her mother had tuberculosis. Along their journey, the family would stop and setup a tent along the river banks while their father, Charles Frey, would go into the town and try to find work. They encountered many Indians along the way; most were friendly. Wilma died before this picture was taken. Peeking from the tent is Lula Bell and standing next to her is Charles Frey, Wilma's father. Two unknown children are standing in far background. Standing behind the rocking chair is her sister, Gladys Josephine. Next to Gladys is her oldest sister, Leila Maude. In the front middle is Annie Lafayette, standing next to her baby sister, Opal in the rocking chair. Before leaving Mannford, Wilma died and shortly after leaving Mannford, Annie Lafayette died. The family traveled back to Mannford to bury Annie beside her sister, Wilma Faye. They are both buried next to each other in Mannford, Creek County, OK.
