Christophe Heidenreich arrived in New Orleans 11/27/1848. His Father's will lists a bequest to the daughters of his deceased son, Christophe. His wife remarried 1/24/1852, so it is safe to assume that Christophe died in 1850/51, during a cholera epidemic. At that time, cholera victims were buried either in the north-west corner of the cemetery, or by the family on the bluff just outside the cemetery walls.

Marriage records show that Heinrich married Catharine Orf on April 9, 1848.
(Her formal name was Katherine Elizabeth Johanna.)
