Mr. Seiler was born in Belleville July 10, 1875, and was a son of the late Philip and Christine Seiler, nee Ruediger, both natives of Germany. He married Amelia Busche Deutsch in Belleville in 1897 and she died December 7, 1917.
Surviving are four children:
Phillip J. Seiler, St. Louis, Mo.
William Seiler, Anton, Ill.
George Seiler, St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. Mathilda Hoff, St. Louis, Mo.
... and a great-grandchild.
Three half-brothers and two half-sisters preceded him in death:

[Marie] Mrs. Kloess
The pallbearers will be Gustav Huelbig, Joseph Weyrauch, John Hilpert, Edward and Walter Krummrich, and William Keller.
Funeral services at 8:45 a.m. Wednesday from Gundlach and Company Funeral Home to st. Peter's Cathedral where the pastor, Msgr. Raymond Harbaugh, will officiate at services. Burial in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
