Christian at the age of 43 with his wife Theresia and their children; Elisabeth, Christian, Adolph, Johann, Martin, Gottlieb, Benjamin, Edward, Adam and Wilhelmina, immigrated to America via the Port of Hamburg, Germany aboard the SS "Polynesia" and arrived at the Port of New York, New York on the 14th of April 1888.
