MRS. F. W. DUECKER SUCCUMBS AT HER HOME LAST NIGHT

Mrs. Karoline Duecker, nee Winker, 70 years of age, died a her home, 200 North 8th Street, at 10:50 o'clock last night after a serious illness of only one week. Mrs. Duecker was the wife of Fred W. Duecker, former business agent here for the Teamsters' Local.
She was born in Belleville, where she has lived all her life, on October 13, 1860, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Winker. She was married to Mr. Duecker in Belleville on September 20, 1901.
Surviving is her husband, two daughters, Marie, at home and Emilie, wife of Rev. Carl Durder of Stornoway, Saskatchewan, Canada; three sons: Edward Duecker, of 305 South Charles Street; Andrew Duecker, of Lawrenceville; Rev. F. J. Duecker, of Columbia; eight grandchildren and a sister, formerly Anna Winker, now the wife of John Backs, 210 North 8th Street.
As the family is awaiting word from Mrs. Durder in Canada, the date of the funeral has not been set as yet. When held it will be from the family residence at 200 North 8th Street to the Zion Lutheran Church with interment in Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Spitz, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, is to officiate.
The remains will lie at the Gundlach and Company Chapel until late this evening.
