Cora M. Cruz, 76, a resident of Silver City, en- red into eternal rest Monday Feb. 22, at Gila Regional Medical Center. She as born Dec. 28, 1922, in Milliken, Colo. She was a homemaker and a communicant at St. Francis Newman Center Parish. The prayer vigil will be held this evening at 7 at St. Francis Newman Center Parish. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated Friday morning at 10 a.m. St. Francis Newman Center Parish. Father Marcos Reyna will officiate at both services. The rite of committal and burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. survivors include six sons, Joe Cruz Jr. and his wife, Florence, of Morenci, Ariz., George Cruz and his wife, Lucy, of Silver City, Art Cruz and his wife, Virgie of Silver City, Tony Cruz and his wife. Priscilla, of Tyrone, and Cruz and his wife, Donna of Cheyenne, Wyo., and Tom Cruz and his wife, Belinda, of Fort Collins, Colo.; five daughters, Rose Mondragon and her husband, Pete, of Tyrone, Edna Royal and her husband, Albert, of Eaton, Colo., Helen Sanchez and her husband, Felimon, of Silver City, Emma Aguirre and her husband, Mike, of Silver City, and Kathy Flores and her husband, Fernando, of Silver City; three brothers, Charles Martinez of Raton, Joe Martinez of Greeley, Colo., and Herman Martinez of Maxwell, N.M.; and a sister, Mary Lucero of Denver. She's also survived by 31 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and two great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cruz Sr., in 1978, and a daughter, Phyllis Cruz, in 1959. Casket bearers will be George, Art, Tony, Pat, Tom and Joe Cruz Jr Entrusted to the care of Baca's Funeral Chapels, U.S. 180 East at Delk Drive.
