The families of Kirk, Baskin and Cuscaden (Corscadden) migrated to Canada about 1820. More specifically Hemmingford and surrounding communities south of Montreal. About 1850 they moved to Waubeek, a township of Pepin County, Wisconsin. The last large movement was to Everett, Washington about 1900. Now many descents live all over the United States and the world. A group of Cuscadens moved to Australia.
Around 1933 Thales Lucius Ames influenced many relatives to write their genealogies. Several people were influential to me, including Douglas Garfield Kirk, Myrtle Kirk, Martha Baskin Shern, Harold Baskin, Dawn Kelm and many more.
This site allows you to travel up and down the families to see your roots. There are some interesting biographies along the way.
