Alexander J. Balster, 81, of Blue Earth and formerly of rural WIlmont, died Friday, June 7, 1996 at St. Luke's Care Center, Blue Earth.

Born September 2, 1914, near Wilmont, he was the son of Henry and Otilia Schmit Balster.

Alex attended country school in rural Wilmont. He was a farmer and a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Wilmont.

Surviving are two sisters, Pauline Broich and Helen Balster, both of Wilmont.

Visitation will be noon to 2 pm Monday at Our lade of Good Counsel Church, Wilmont.

The service will be 2 pm Mondy at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Wilmont, with the Rev. Martin Schaefer officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Wilmont.
Lynch-Dingmann Funeral Home, Worhtington, is in charge of arrangements.
