DeLores K. Campbell
Sunprairie, Wis. — DeLores K. Campbell, 73, died Thursday (Jan. 11, 2007) at the Ellen & Peter Johnson HospiceCare Center after a brave fight against cancer.
She was born May 26, 1933, in Mason City, Iowa, the daughter of John and Rose (Felder) Herzog.
On June 6, 1959, DeLores was united in marriage with Patrick Campbell in Mason City, Iowa. They relocated their family in August 1970 to Sun Prairie, Wis. She had been employed by the Holt Pharmacy for more than 18 year, were she developed many friendships.
DeLores was a member of the Sacred Hearts Catholic Church.
"Dee" enjoyed watching sports (GO HAWKS), playing cards, especially cribbage, and conversing with her many friends. Her pride and joy were her children and grandkids, who will greatly miss her.
In addition to her husband, Pat, survivors include four daughters: Catherine Campbell, of Gurnee, Ill., Jane (Brett Baier) Campbell, of Nashville, Tenn., Mary Campbell, of SunPrairie, and Roselen (Todd Hanke) Campbell, of New Berlin,Wis.; one son, Ken Campbell, of Racine, Wis.; and six grandchildren: Matthew, Jonathan, Conner, Tristan, Noah and Curtis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, LaVerne.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, at the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, 221 Columbus St. in Sun Prairie, Wis., with Monsignor Duane R. Moellenberndt presiding.
