Mrs. Anna Barthel

Waite park - Mrs. Anna Barthel, 89, died in the Waite Park Rest home here today. She was born at St. Martin, Minn. Feb. 10 1876 and lived there most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Mat (1943); one son, Henry, and one daughter, Mrs. Hubert (Mary) Christen.

She is survived by five sons; Anton, St. Cloud; Math and John, Melrose; Alex, Long Prairie, and Alois, Paynesville; and two daughters; Mrs. Elmer (Theckla) Miller, Minneapolis and Mrs. Oscar (Elizabeth) Melin, Minneapolis. There are 33 grandchildren.

Funeral Services are incomplete at this time. Burial will be at St. Martin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Barthel, 89 , were held Tuesday morning from St. Martin's Catholic church. Burial was made in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Ronald and Kenneth Melin, and Donald, Steven, Eldrid and Dennis Barthel.

Honorary pallbearers were Mmes. Math Klassen, Math Gully, Peter Noll, Joseph Hagermann, Joseph Fleishhacker and Mike Schlcik
