Carroll Daily Times Herald - Friday, July 18, 1975 - Graveside rites for Mrs Mary Seeden, 82, of South Gate, California formerly of Glidden, are scheduled for 2 pm Saturday at West lawn Cemetery here. The Rev Daryl Torrin, pastor of St John's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Friends may call at the Dahn-Woodhouse Funeral Home in Glidden, where there will be a prayer service for the family and friends at 8pm Friday.
Mrs Seeden died July 14 at St Francis Hospital in Linwood, Calif. A daughter of John and Lina Rohrbeck Ritter, Mrs Seeden was born in Illinois on Sept 30, 1892. Her husband. William Seeden, died in 1935 and she had lived in California for 27 years. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
Four sons survive, including Clarence, Leonard, and Kenneth of South Gate and Lester of Linwood. Also surviving are six grandchildren; ll great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren; and two sisters: Emma Ritter of South Gate and Mrs Elsie Heuton of Glidden.
