Andrea Metzler, president and chief executive officer at Hwy 1, an advertising company in San Francisco, for 16 years, died in Oakland. She was 47.
The native of Buffalo, N.Y., lived in Contra Costa County for eight years. She attended the College of Wooster and Wake Forest University, and was an elder at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Craig; daughter, Jennifer C. Metzler of Moraga; son, Bryce W. Metzler of Moraga; parents, William and Joan Mitchell of North Carolina; and brother, Peter Mitchell of North Carolina.
Services: Memorial 3 p.m. Sunday at Moraga Valley Presbyterian Church. Burial at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette. Arrangements by Oakmont Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lafayette.
