Earl B. "Hunky" Farmer, 67, of 227 Cardinal Lane, Owensboro, died Tuesday, December 14, 1993, at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital. He was born in Daviess County; was retired from River City Aluminum; and was a member of First Baptist Church; Veterans of Foreign Wars, the American Legion, AMVETS, Eagles Lodge, Disabled American Veterans and the Moose Lodge. He was an Army veteran of WW II and served in the Asiatic-Pacific theater. Survivors include 2 sons, Martin Farmer of Owensboro and Timothy Farmer of Plano, TX; 4 daughters, Carol Alsup, Nila Kassinger and Nancy Wethington, all of Owensboro, and Debbie Moeller of Graham; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; 4 brothers, L.D. & James Farmer, both of Owensboro, Lowell Farmer of San Antonio, TX, and Glen Farmer of Henderson; 3 sisters, Jean Biven and Maxine Hagan, both of Owensboro, and Mary Ann Frost of Caldwell, ID; and Bernie Evitts of Owensboro. Memorial services are at 10 a.m. Friday at Christ Chapel at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
