Uehling - Irma H. Uehling, 89, of Uehling died Sunday, Dec.

19,
1999, at Hooper Care Center.

Irma Witte was born May 15, 1910, in Cuming County. She was a

1927
graduate of West Point High School. She attended Wayne State
College for a year. She married Ernest Uehling Sept. 6, 1933,

at
Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, Iowa. He died May

23,
1960. She was a secretary for Uehling School from 1965-77.

She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Uehling, and
Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. She was

a
past member of Golden Hour Club.

Survivors include: a daughter, Mary (Mrs. Dr. Ken) Frank of
Lincoln; a son, Homer (and wife, Lowene) Uehling of Oakland;

two
grandsons, four granddaughters and seven great-grandchildren.

She
was preceded in death by three sisters.

The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran
Church with the Rev. Diane Picton officiating. Visitation

will be
2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Warne-Johnson Funeral Home in Uehling.

Burial
will be in Swaburg Cemetery in rural Hooper. Memorials have

been
established to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Hooper Care

Center.
