Born in Bohemia, Czech Republic, he was the son of Johann and Anna (Schidla) Federsel.
He served with the Germany Army during WWII, and attained the rank of corporal while serving from 1941-1945. It was during his service time that he met his future wife.
He was employed as a tool and die maker for Lenape Manufacturing in Perkasie for 18 years prior to his retirement in 1988. He was previously employed by North Penn Machine & Tool in West Rockhill Twp.
Mr. Federsel was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Telford where he served as an usher. In his free time he enjoyed gardening, and caring for his lawn and trees.
He is survived by four sons: Josef Federsel and his wife Deborah of Bradenton, FL, Raymond Federsel and his wife Jayne of Telford, Frank Federsel of East Greenville, George Federsel and his wife Susan of Perkasie, a daughter, Debra Croissette and her husband Steven of Telford, ten grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 8:00 PM in the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 107 W. Lincoln Ave., Telford, PA 18969. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Telford. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM prior to the service.
