Mrs. Lisa Ruthenberg Brown, age 54, of Oneida, TN, passed away on December 26, 2015, at her home. Born July 21, 1961 in Wayne Co., Michigan, she was the daughter of Donald Martin and Tinah Laxton Ruthenberg.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Clarence Richard Ruthenberg, Louise Fahringer, Alonzo and Elsie Laxton, and Russell Brown; aunts and uncles: Clarence, Robert and Roy Ruthenberg, Leon Laxton, Otis Laxton, Lothery J. Laxton, Wilbern and Wilda Laxton, Veda Duncan Posey, Eddie Barnes, Earl Barnes and Ethel Nichols; special aunts: Lorraine Merkler and Virgie Mahrle.
She is survived by her husband: David Anthony Brown; children: David Shane Brown and wife Tiffany, and April Faith Brown and Daniel Norman; grandchildren: David Dylan Bell, Caleb James Bell, Matthew Tanner Brown, Gracie Shaine Brown, Trey Murphy and Merissa Hawkins; great grandchild: Nyla Hawkins; father and mother: Donald Martin and Tinah Laxton Ruthenberg; sister: Suzanne Brewington and husband Randy; mother-in-law: Eunice Brown; aunts and uncles: Vergie Mahrle, Dean Carson, Inez Troxel and husband Jack, and Barbara Woods, Milford “Ducky” Laxton and wife Jeri, Marie Laxton, Retha Laxton and George Ruthenberg; niece: Adrian Nicole Sullivan and her three children: James Warren, Harlie Nicole and Lucas Chase Sullivan; and many other relatives and special friends to mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at 1 p.m. at the Little Charity Ministries (located at 220 Oak Ave., Oneida, TN 37841) with Bro. Jeff Boyatt, Bro. Daniel Woods and Mrs. Tinah Laxton Ruthenberg officiating. Reception will follow. Music will be provided by Jimmy and Tammy Woods.
