Anna Lucia Mazza was born July 8, 1900 in Lock Haven, PA to Pietro (Peter) Mazza and Concetti Disanti.

Anna was married to Frank Ticconi on Aug. 23, 1922.

Anna died just months after her marriage after a gas stove explosion in at her home in Erie, PA on May 7, 1923. She was buried in St Agnes Cemetery in Lock Haven, PA.

Mrs. F Ticconi of Erie, who before her marriage was Miss Anna Mazza, of this city, died Monday at St Vincent’s hospital, Erie, of burns received following the explosion of a natural gas stove. Deceased, who was born and reared in this city, had been married only eight months. She is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Mazza, residing on the brick road leading to Castanea, and five brothers and seven sisters, Mrs. Sarah Fidelle, Renovo; Frank and Mrs. Christine Gigliotte, Emporium; Mrs. Mary Carincio, New York City; Peter, Concetta, Flora, Clyde, Richard, David, Helen, and Edith, at home. The body was brought here early this morning and taken to the home of the deceased parents. Funeral services will be conducted at St Agnes Church tomorrow morning at 9:00. Interment will be made in St Agnes Cemetery.
