Vera and her husband Istvan immigrated from Hungary in 1909 through Ellis Island. They ran a boarding house at 135 Rainbow Street in Wadsworth, Ohio for other immigrants who worked on the Railroad and in the Salt Mines. The 1910 Miradex code shows 17 non-relatives living there. Their children were Gabor, Steve, and Julia, all born in Hungary, and Andrew, born in the United States. Ship of transport was the Ultonia.
