Anton W. Rummel

Anton W. Rummel, 77, of Waco died Sunday at a local hospital.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Monsignor Mark Deering officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Wilkirson-Hatch Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Rummel was born March 18, 1912 in Falls County, where he attended school. He married Irene Cordell on Dec. 8, 1933. He worked for Cameron Mills and later worked 15 years for Lone Star Brewery. He managed an apartment complex and several service stations.

He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Martha Schmidt of Waco and Joyce Entrop of Chilton; five sisters, Rosie Swatloski of Marlin, Clara Barnett of Rosebud, Lena DeMoss of Florida, Elenora Patillo of Hallsburg, and Betha Zost of McGregor; two brothers, John Rummel of Houston and Henry Rummel of Marlin; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren
