Mrs. Dorothea Dotz, 93, widow of the late Philip Dotz, died Tuesday at the Elm Convalescent Home following a brief illness.
Mrs. Dotz, who formerly lived at 2323 Main Ave., had been a resident of the home three years.
The former Dorothea Hardt was born in Enders, Russia, Nov. 7, 1864, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hardt.
On Jan 24, 1883, she was married to Mr. Dotz in Russia. The couple came to Sheboygan in 1909, living here ever since.
Her husband, formerly employed here by the American Chair Co., died in February, 1945.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are four sons, Henry, David and Alex, Sheboygan, and Christ, El Paso, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Gottlieb Oehlberg (Mary), Sheboygan, and Mrs. David Ulrich (Sophia), Milwaukee; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sons, two sisters and three brothers.
