Mrs. Yurk was born in Rhinewald, Russia, Dec. 24, 1864, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Friederich Wiegand, was married to Mr. Yurk in Russia in 1883, and came to this country in 1909, settling in Sheboygan. Mr. Yurk died in 1936.
Mrs. Yurk was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church.
She leaves one son, Henry, Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. David (Emelia) Martin, of Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Louis (Ruth) Witke, of Los Angeles; and a brother, John Wiegand, Milwaukee.
Funeral services are planned tentatively for Thursday afternoon, and the time and place will be announced Wednesday. The Rev. Erich Keller, pastor of Ebenezer Lutheran Church, will conduct the services, and burial will be in the family lot at Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ballhorn Funeral Chapels after noon on Wednesday.
