Miss Vernice Koeppen, 40, of 1228 Trimberger Ct., died Monday at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital after a prolonged illness.
Born Jan. 20, 1917, in Sheboygan, a daughter of Albert and Edith Koeppen, she attended Sheridan School, the Orthopedic School for one year, and graduated from Sheboygan High School with the class of 1934.
Later, she attended the State School for the Blind at Janesville for two years.
During World War II, Miss Koeppen was employed at the Electric Sprayit Co. and the National Tinsel Co.
Only immediate survivors are her mother, an uncle and three aunts. Her father preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ramm Funeral Home. Burial will be in the family lot in Lutheran Cemetery.
