Peter S. Feith, 82, Schofield Route 1, died at 8 a.m. Saturday at a local hospital after a three-month illness. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Janssen Funeral Home, Schofield. The Rev. Vernon E. Dolde, pastor of Peace United Church of Christ, will officiate and burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. Mr. Feith was born in Hungary March 22, 1885, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Steven Feith. He came to America alone when he was 18 years old and settled in Milwaukee for a brief period before moving to this area. In December 1905, in Milwaukee, he married the former Elsie Kreutz, who survives. Mr. Feith farmed in the area and was a retired employe of American Can Co. where he had worked for 24 years. Survivors besides his wife include a son, Arthur, Schofield Route 1; two daughters, Mrs. Clyde Howland, Rothschild, and Mrs. Clyde Damrow, Schofield; three brothers, Steven, Wisconsin Rapids, John, Saukville, and Henry, Hungary; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Schneider, Germany; nine grandchildren and 12 great - grandchildren.
