He was a member of Grace Evangelical Free Church and First Alliance Church and retired from Neer Manufacturing where he was a tool maker. A very serious gentleman, he enjoyed airplanes and was a member of the Mission Aviation Fellowship.
He is survived by two sisters, Mildred Petrovic and Mary Strauch both of Mansfield; several nieces and nephews; and good friends and neighbors, Carol and Melvin Shults. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois A. (Pritchard) Petrovic; a brother, George Petrovic; and a sister, Stella LaRue.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond Street, Mansfield, Ohio conducted by Pastor Dennis Nezrick. Burial will follow in Bunker Hill Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service, from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., at the funeral home on Friday. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Evangelical Free Church.
