Michael Koesters, 33, 1201 N. Main St., Celina, died Feb. 10, 2004, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, immediately following a car accident on Howick Road in Celina.
He was born Sept. 22, 1970, in Celina, to Leo and Shirley Knapke Koesters. His mother died Oct. 10, 1996; his father resides in Celina.
Other survivors are his former wife, Julie Riley of Celina; a daughter, Audrey, and a son, Devin, both at home; a brother, Gary (Annetta) of Lima; and two sisters, Sue (Harold) Minch, Celina, and Deborah (Bill) Grady, Valdosta, Ga.
He was a HVAC technician for Consolidated-Hunter Plumbing & Heating, Celina, and member of St. John Lutheran Church, Celina. A 1988 graduate of the former Mendon High School, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Desert Storm and member of the Loyal Order of Moose lodge in Celina.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, Pastor Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, and one hour before the service at the church.
Contributions can be made to a trust fund for his children.
